Baer

Werner Baer is an economist specializing in Latin American development economics. He is currently the Jorge Lemann Distinguished Professor of Economics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He received his B.A. in economics at Queens College, and M.A. and Ph.D. in economics at Harvard University. He was a professor at Vanderbilt University from 1965 to 1974.
