Savages

Savages was a play written by British playwright Christopher Hampton, first performed at the Royal Court Theater in 1973. The play dealt with the Brazilian government’s treatment of its indigenous population since Brazil’s establishment, seen through flashbacks from the play’s central plot line: the kidnapping of British government official Alan West by leftist revolutionary guerrillas.
