Thomas Skidmore is a scholar of Brazilian political history. He received his first B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy from Denison University in 1954. He completed his second B.A. in 1956 and an M.A. in 1959 in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics on a Fulbright Fellowship at Magdalen College in Oxford, England.
